I've been gardening in one way or another my whole life; my dad comes from a long line of avid gardeners and has always had a kitchen garden (with a particular affinity for basil and tomatoes), and my mom loved growing flowers and herbs. Rental living has not always been conducive to gardening, but during the pandemic I felt I needed to reconnect with nature, gardening, and myself. I was determined to make a bountiful garden happen in my tiny rental backyard, so I made my way to a local farm store and came home with stock tanks and wine barrels that would serve as my kitchen garden for years to come.
That container garden on the concrete slab in my tiny yard truly changed my life: the way I eat, the way I connect with nature, and my career. After over a decade as a project manager in the corporate world, I am now able to combine my broad skillset with my passion for gardening, nature, and design as a Garden Consultant, Designer, and Coach at The Wilder Yard! I enjoy helping others discover a love for gardening, growing delicious food, and spending time in nature. I can't wait to work with you!
